Flysound's mission
Everyone deserves to hear the people they love. Good hearing aids should not be priced out of reach — they are a necessity, not a luxury.
Flysound began with a moment our founder never forgot. He watched an older member of his own family grow quieter at dinner, miss parts of phone calls, and slowly step back from conversations that once brought him joy.
“Not being able to hear is not silence. It is the loneliness of feeling cut off from the world.”
The options available then were too expensive, too complicated, or too uncomfortable to wear all day. A quality pair could cost more than $5,000, which put better hearing out of reach for most families. So he set out to build something different: hearing aids that are practical, effective, simple to use and genuinely affordable — at a fraction of the traditional price.
That idea became Flysound. Today it brings together AI sound processing, Bluetooth, app-guided personalisation, rechargeable convenience and a design meant for real daily life, so more people can stay in the conversations that matter.
Flysound is run by a team working across hardware, software and audiology, focused on hearing innovation, design and how the thing actually feels to use.
Our 18,000 m² factory handles the whole process in house — design, development, assembly and inspection — under ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certification. Selling direct, rather than through clinics and distributors, is where the price difference comes from.
“FDA registered” means the manufacturer and device are listed with the US Food and Drug Administration. Registration is a listing, not an FDA approval, clearance or endorsement. Flysound hearing aids are over-the-counter devices for adults 18 and over with perceived mild to moderate hearing loss. They are not suitable for severe or profound hearing loss, which needs a hearing professional and a prescription device.
